Album Cover - Each album in the series had a different color - they all had an embossed, die-cut poster stamp issued by the newspaper affixed in a space at the top center.
The text reads: "My Stamp Collection / Berlingske Tidendes Album / For / Registered Poster Stamps / No. 1 - 100 / Album No. 2 / With Illustrations and Registration numbers - 50 øre" This album belonged to Inge Margrete Thrue, who lived at Frederiksberg Aleé 45. It is completely filled.

Inside Front Cover - An advertisement for the printing firm of L Levison Junr. in Copenhagen. Text reads:
"L. LEVISON JUNR. KJØBMAGERGADE 50 COPENHAGEN Produces original and tasteful POSTER STAMPS With advertising and artistic assistance. Our editors and our illustrators provide PROPOSALS, IDEAS, and DRAWINGS for anyone who considers issuing advertisements and poster stamps. TELEPHONE 7500 for connection to all departments and offices." The firm of L Levison Junr was one of the more prolific producers of poster stamps in Denmark. In the upper left corner can be seen the newspaper's rubber stamp confirmation mark. |
First printed interleaving page. These pages were bound into the album between pages with stamps. They are partially intended to protect the stamps from catching on stamps on opposing pages.
They also afford an opportunity for advertising. This is the only interleaving page with printing on both sides. Subsequent interleaving pages are only printed on the front side. |
First interleaving sheet - back. Text Reads:
"To encourage our most energetic collectors, we have arranged for 10 prizes, consisting of 10 modern wristwatches, which will be awarded according to the following rules: Anyone who has collected in the Berlingske Tidendes Album No. 2 for Registered Poster Stamps # 101 - 200 every actual poster stamp, may, before April 28, 1914 present their album to Berlingske Tidende's office at Pilestræde 34, along with their name and address, after which they will become eligible for the drawing of the prizes. After review, the album will receive a small control stamp. - For residents of other towns and rural residents, the album may be submitted by mail to receive its control stamp, after which the album will be returned to its owner.- The results of the prize awards will be announced in the newspaper on Sunday, May 3 1914. Copenhagen, November 10, 1913. Berlingske Tidende." |

#101) Die-cut, embossed poster stamp issued by Berlingske Tidende, the newspaper sponsoring the competition using these albums. This stamp is also affixed to the cover of every album issued. #102) Advertisement for Cigar & Tobacco Manufacturer "Danmark". The stamp is celebrating the 25th anniversary of the company's founding. It was printed by Andreasen & Lachmann and is A&L # 97, with design by A&L Studio. #103) Advertisement for Michelin Tires. This Poster stamp has a design by O'Galop (Marius Rosillon) and is from a set of twelve "Zodiac" designs. There were several different sets issued, with various differences, and they have been seen with either German or Swedish text. #104) Advertisement for Skiold (or Skjold) one of Denmarks oldest Insurance companies. This is one of three similar designs with minor differences. #105) Advertisement for Axel Ekman's Haberdashery. |

Printed by Sophus Kruckow, but without backprint or number. #107) Memorial stamp honoring Peter Sabroe - Journalist, Politician and Child Welfare Advocate. Sabroe was killed in a train crash on July 26, 1913. Printed by Sophus Kruckow, but without backprint or number. #108) Advertisement for Toiletskabe Compagniet, which specialized in bathroom cabinets and accessories. Printed by Andreasen & Lachmann, A&L #93, design by A&L Studio. #109) Advertisment for Harald Børgesen, merchant in sporting goods. Printed by Andreasen & Lachmann, A&L #80,m design by A&L Studio. #110) Advertisement for Gieses' Sikkerhedsfyldepen (safety fountain pen - either with a cap or a retractable nib). This stamp was one of 4 advertising Gieses' stationery products, and they were printed se-tenant in miniature sheets of 4. |

This is an advertisement for Jens Jacobsen A/S, merchant in womens' hats, lingerie, and fashions. Specialists in fancy embellishments including South African ostrich feathers and other large plumes. Their logo includes a caricature of a black child waving feathers while riding on the back of an ostrich. For the Jens Jacobsen poster stamp, see #182 on page 17 of this album. |

They are seen se-tenant in blocks of 10 (5x2) within larger sheets. |

Interleaving sheet between pages 4 and 5. This is an advertisement for Palads-Teatret, also known as Palads. The ad shows the theater's interior, ticket prices, and other contact information.
According to Wikipedia: "The Palads was established in Copenhagen's former central railway station on Axeltorv which had ceased operations in 1911 following the construction of a new station. After major reconstruction work, the cinema opened on 18 October 1912. With some 3,000 seats and a 30-man orchestra, it was Scandinavia's largest entertainment centre. The former station building was completely demolished in 1917, providing space for today's building designed by Andreas Clemmensen and Johan Nielsen. Kai Nielsen's sculpture of Ursus and the Bull was positioned on the roof from the beginning but was not gilded until 1949." |

These stamps are advertising Lunau's wine and spirits business, and are from a set of 5 printed by Andreasen & Lachmann, A&L #137, 136, 135, 134, with designs by A&L Studio. #125) Advertisemnent for HEF - Herskinds Elektrisk Forretning (Herskind's Electrical Company). This die-cut embossed stamp depicts a woman holding a light bulb over her head, and is known in the 2 colors shown here, and probably others as well. |

This sheet is promoting Samlermærke Centralen (Collector's Stamp Center) and the Nordisk Samlermærke Forlag (Nordic Collector's Stamp Publisher). The N.S.F. was instrumental in supporting poster stamps and other cinderellas in their early days of collecting. They acted as a clearinghouse for cinderella stamps, and they published albums for them as well. |
